The anxiety ends today. Well, for some, not all. The Early Bird three-day passes for Lollapalooza 2013 go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. Central. Festival goers are sitting on the edge of their seats, hoping that their click will be timely enough to secure them an Early Bird Pass for $200, saving them $35 compared to the Regular Pass. It may not seem like much, but that's three and a half beers that can be enjoyed come Lollapalooza weekend. VIP Lolla Lounge Passes, Platinum Passes and travel packages will also be for sale.
Platinum Passes include access to exclusive air-conditioned Platinum Hospitality Areas at both ends of the park, access to the Lolla Artist Lounge, dedicated viewing areas, gold carts for easy travel, catered food and complimentary bars. Although you'll have to cough up some serious extra cash, that's the way to do it.
Travel packages are available for non-Chicago area residents that make it easy to rent a hotel room with your ticket purchase.
Unfortunately, for those fans that were hoping to snag a $75 pass via the Lollapalooza secret sale, the opportunity has passed. The secret sale has ended, so it's best to focus your energy on grabbing an Early Bird Pass before they run out. The $200 pass isn't as sweet as the $75, but if you're planning on attending Lollapalooza 2013, get online and grab yourself a ticket.
Rumors continue to pour in regarding this year's lineup, but there will be no official announcement until April 9, after the Early Bird Passes will most likely be sold out. So for those of you who are waiting to view the lineup before you purchase your ticket, you may want to stop dillydallying and grab yourself one. The earlier the better.
