Lil Wayne is more than happy to be home after suffering from seizures and being hospitalized for six days.
Last week, the hip hop artist was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles where he remained up until Monday. While he was there, TMZ released a report saying that the New Orleans-born rapper was being read his last rites. They also reported that the seizures were induced after Lil Wayne overdosed on sizzurp, a popular concoction of cough syrup and codeine
Members of his camp have denied that the seizures were drug related and that his condition was severe. But now that he's home, the New Orleans rapper shared a video to show that he is doing just fine.
"I swear to God I felt that love while I was laid up in that mother----ing hospital bed," said a vibrant and light-at-heart Weezy. "But I want all y'all to know I'm good," said the MC thanking his fans for their support.
He even included a shameless plug reminding fans that his album "I Am Not a Human Being II" is still due out March 26th. He is also gearing up to go on his "America's Most Wanted" tour with some of his closest friends this summer.
Hip hop star T.I., also made a cameo in the video to promote their tour. "July 5th we cranking that mother----er up. BBQ on the 4th, come holler at us on the 5th!," he said.
At the end of the video, Wayne made a joke telling viewers to "Kiss my fist!" before adding another sincere thank you. "I'm more than good, but thank you for real, thank you to all y'all for your prayers and all that. I'm more than good, I swear to God. Thank you."
