Keisha Cole isn't the only person publicly taking shots at Beyonce's latest single, "Bow Down."
On his Wednesday, controversial conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh claimed that the superstar's new track is encouraging women to be subservient to their spouses.
"She's got a new song," he said of the superstar diva.
"Can I say it? It's on the popular charts. Bow Down, B-----s is the new tune. A total 180. Beyoncé's now saying, 'Go ahead and put up with it,' and you know why? I'll tell you why. Because she got married. She's married to rich guy. She's even calling herself 'Mrs. Carter' on the tour. She has shelved 'Beyoncé.' "
On Thursday, the host continued to bash the song and correlated it with his Right Wing politics by attacking the Left.
"I made up nothing. I didn't create a phrase. I didn't create the title of a song. I just read what was in this U.K. story," he said Thursday. "So in essence what I did, I held up a mirror to the left, and they saw themselves, and now they're attacking me for doing this. It was a little throw-away portion of the program yesterday, and yet it's all over the place what I think of Beyoncé's latest album, CD, tour, single, what have you. It's hilarious."
On Monday, singer Keyshia Cole slammed the song on Twitter writing, "First 'Women need to Stick together' now bitches better Bow." She added, "Smh," which means shaking my head.
The "Bow Dow" reveals an angry and obnoxious image of Beyoncé's. The lyrics are as follows: "I know when you were little girls / You dreamt of being in my world / Don't forget it, don't forget it / Respect that, bow down b-----s / I took some time to live my life / But don't think I'm just his little wife / Don't get it twisted, get it twisted."
