For the first time ever, not only did Selena Gomez publicly acknowledge her break up with Justin Bieber, but the "Spring Breakers" actress admitted that she made her famous ex-boyfriend cry.

The former Disney star appeared on "The Late Show" Monday night where she bonded with talk show host David Letterman over the fact that they both made the 19-year-old Canadian singer cry. The conversation started when Letterman asked Gomez if she has dated anyone else since she and Bieber split in January.

"Do you date? Do you go out and see -- seeing boys now?" Letterman asked. "No, not yet, no," responded the 20-year-old entertainer.

Letterman went on to say, "Now, I remember last time you were here, you were with a Justin Bieber?"

"I was with a Justin Bieber?'" she retorted, laughing and adding that she is "so good" with being single.

"Good, yeah. I think you're fine," Letterman as the audience applauded.

"Now, the last time he was on, uh, he and I got into a conversation, and I -- he said something and then I said something, and then he said something and I said something, and I made him cry."

"Well, then that makes two of us," she said smugly, and then pounding Letterman with a fist bump.

More than likely, Letterman was referring to the interview he had with Bieber in June 2012 where he disapproved of his new tattoo.

Gomez and Bieber broke up after a two-year high profile relationship around New Year's. According to Us Weekly, an insider reported that Selena broke up with the "Beauty and a Beat" singer over trust issues. " Selena definitely had some major trust issues with Justin," said the source as rumors swirled around that the heartthrob cheated on her with a Victoria's Secret model

The two reconciled soon thereafter, but had another major fight while vacationing in Mexico for New Year's. "Selena is done with him," confirmed a source.
