Apparently Kate Middleton's coveted fashion sense isn't the only thing that women are flocking to emulate. New reports reveal that her nose has actually become a highly sort after accessory which is driving women to go under the knife.
New York plastic surgeons have seen an increase in the number of requests from women who want a nose that looks like the Kate's in recent months.
According the New York Daily News, Middleton's petite nose has become "spring's hottest accessory" for many New York women.
"A couple of months ago, these women started coming into my office and asking for Kate Middleton's nose," Dr. Stephen T. Greenberg, a Manhattan plastic surgeon told the Daily News. "It has become so popular that we have made a file of a dozen Kate Middleton pictures to show patients when they come in for their consultation."
Dr. Daniel Shapiro, an Arizona-based plastic surgeon, added that he has also heard of the Kate Middleton nose trend during an interview on Fox 10 News.
"It's kind of in vogue," Shapiro said. "I have friends that are in Manhattan, it is one of the highest percentage procedures now."
Earlier this year, 20-year-old Jessica Blaier made headlines she said she spent about $12,000 on plastic surgery to get a nose like Middleton's.
"Every time she smiled it's like, that's what I want -- I want my nose to be like that,'" Blaier, who had the procedure done in Manhattan, told ABC's "Good Morning America" back in January.
The obsession with the British royal's has swept through England as well. According to Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group, one of Britain's biggest cosmetic surgery providers, Middleton's nose was the "most-requested celebrity facial feature in 2012."
