Singer Demi Lovato has never been afraid to experiment or try something new when it comes to her looks.
The former "Disney" star recently posted a photo of herself with a new, shorter hair cut via Twitter. "New hair!!!!," wrote the "Heart Attack" singer as a caption of her shoulder length hairdo on Tuesday night.
Her new do features a layered look with a long side-swept bang. Just a few hours before debuting her new look, the "X-Factor" judge posted a picture of herself going shopping pre-haircut on Instagram.
Lovato has gone through a series of different haircuts and dyes since launching her career on Disney's "Sonny With A Chance" from varying shades of blonde and colored highlights. In the past, Lovato has admitted that she likes to change her appearance.
"I love changing my hair a lot- I think it's fun," Lovato said during a 2012 interview with Allure magazine.
The actress/singer also revealed that she likes to take advantage of the control she has over her image now that she's "made it" in Hollywood.
"I used to always want to dye my hair blue and purple and pink when I was younger. But I was busy trying to make it in the industry as an actress, and it was hard to go in for auditions with blue hair," she added. "And so when I heard of the dip-dye trend, I loved it, and I felt like I could finally dye my hair blue. You know you've made it when you can dye your hair blue."
