David Zepeda revealed that he will sing the theme song to his new telenovela "Mentir Para Vivir."
The actor told "Hoy" that C rlos Lara proposed two songs to him. Zepeda then brought them to producer Rosy Ocampo. Zepeda stated that he believed one of the songs spoke about the themes of the series and was perfect to set the mood of the work.
Zepeda added that Ocampo liked both of the songs and that soon she will reveal the song she picked.
Zepeda recently revealed that he will soon record his first album after releasing his first single "Tallisman." The actor last worked on "La Fuerza del Destino" with Ocampo. He also worked on "Abismo de Pasion."
"Mentir Para Vivir" tells the story of two lonely soles who meet and fall in love. The series also stars Maryn Villanueva, Diego Olivera and Altair Jarabo. The four actors recently met at a press conference where they spoke about their roles and stated that they were excited for the new project.
The soap opera will be shot in Sonora, Mexico where they will shoot in Hermosillo, San Carlos and Bahia de Equino. Production will begin on Monday with a script by Maria Zarattini; the writer last worked with producer Ocampo on "La Fuerza del Destino."
The series, originally entitled "La Sustituta," will also star Alejandro Tommasi ("La Fuerza del Destino"), Lourdes Mungia ("Abismo de Pasión"), Alberto Agnesi ("Abismo de Pasión") and Juan Carlos Barreto ("Para Volver Amar"). It is set to air on May 7th and will replace "Que Bonito Amor" on El Canal de las Estrellas.
