Mexican Actress Kate Del Castillo congratulated her ex-husband Aaron Diaz for his new baby.
The "Reina del Sur" star stated on twitter that she was happy for her ex-husband's new baby and that she wished him the best in his new family life. She also congratulated him on his birthday which he celebrated on March 7th.
Although the couple separated in 2011, it has been revealed that Castillo and Diaz maintain a friendly relationship as demonstrated by Castillo's comments.
Castillo recently hit headlines when the paparazzi spotted her with Luis Miguel. Rumors spread that they were going out but she denied them. The actress is currently working on a new film entitled "Colosio: El Asesinato" and will also been seen in "Redemption." She also made a special appearance on the TV series "CSI Miami" and "Grimm." Her last telenovela was in "La Reina del Sur" in which she played the role of Teresa Mendoza, the queen of Narcs.
Her latest film "K-11" directed by Jules Stewart (Kristen Stewart's Mother) hits theaters on March 5th.
Diaz celebrated his birthday at the Guadalajara Film Festival where he is promoting his new film "Marcelo." While at the festival, the actor wrote via twitter that he was sorry for not thanking his fans for their birthday wishes.
Diaz recently released his first CD "Aaron Diaz" and is currently working on Venevision's new Telenovela "Rosario" starring Lorena Rojas (Pecados Ajenos), Guy Ecker (Eva Luna), Zully Montero (El Fantasma de Elena), Frances Ondiviela (Un Refugio para el Amor) and Itahisa Machado. The actor is currently dating Lola Ponce with which he had his daughter Erin.
