Though Miley Cyrus continues to deny rumors that her engagement with Liam Hemsworth is off, it sure didn't help that the former "Disney" star was spotted not wearing her engagement ring on the same day.
According to tabloid reports, the young couple has been on the rocks for the last couple weeks because Hemsworth allegedly cheated on the 20-year-old singer with January Jones.
However, on Wednesday, Cyrus tweeted to her 11 million plus followers that the gossip that she canceled her wedding is bogus and that she's sick of all the "lies."
"I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining," she posted.
Nonetheless, paparazzi spotted the "Party In The U.S.A." singer without her 3.5 carat ring last night when she was outside of a recording studio in LA. She tried to hide her face in some of the pictures, but it was obvious that her ring was missing. [See Photo.] The Hunger Games star proposed to Cyrus proposed last May.
"Liam and Miley are done," a friend tells Us Weekly. "She says she's over it."
An inside source close to Cyrus insisted to PEOPLE on Thursday that, "Miley still wants to get married."
"Miley and Liam have had some problems that they are working through," said the source. The couple "have always had a very passionate relationship," the source adds. "They have a very strong physical attraction, but have very different personalities and backgrounds. This makes their relationship very complicated."
