The Boston Bruins will look to bounce back from a disappointing loss when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Bruins held a 3-0 lead after just 20 minutes of play against the Washington Capitals. However, the team fell apart and the Capitals eventually won the game 4-3 in overtime.

"We had the game in the bag and we got complacent," said Bruins forward Brad Marchand after the defeat. "It's a very tough loss. ... It never should have gone to overtime; that's on us, we've got to be better. They got a lot of opportunities and they capitalized at the right time."

"You can't expect to win a hockey game if you're not going to play three periods," added Bruins coach Claude Julien. "The team we played tonight was a desperate team. They came out with a vengeance in the second period and we didn't respond well."

The loss snapped a seven game winning streak for Boston.

The Maple Leafs are playing their fifth back-to-back of the season and are coming off a 5-4 win against the Ottawa Senators. Toronto held a 5-2 lead at one point, but saw the Senators make a dangerous comeback.

"We won the hockey game and got two points," said Toronto Coach Randy Carlyle after the game. "Is it a masterpiece? You be the judge... I don't think we've had everyone going on one given night, to prove to us or to prove to themselves how good we can be. We've had too many interruptions, I would say."

Regarding his team's direction, Carlyle added, "Some nights I do, some nights I don't... It's frustrating for us at times to not be able to do some of the things that we've done so well in other parts of the game. And then it leaves us for extended periods of time."
