No.5 Georgetown is so close they can taste it. Otto Porter in particular can taste it as he leads his team towards their first conference title in five years and fight for a top seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Porter is on a hot streak averaging just a tad over 27 points a game over his last three - giving him a 19.7 average on the season.

"Stating the obvious, he can score in a lot of different ways," coach John Thompson III said. "From Day 1, Otto Porter has done everything. And so you look at the rebounds. You look at the deflections. Communication. It's not just about the scoring."

A scoring they will need.

The Hoyas will enter the Wells Fargo Center to take on Villanova who is a respectable 18-12, 9-8 in the Big East this season. Leading the way for the Wildcats will be Pinkston and freshman surprise Ryan Arcidiacono.

It'll be important that Georgetown doesn't overlook their opponent, as Villanova can get nasty on the boards, but it's hard not to look at Syracuse as their final test of the season despite already having the conference locked up.

The title is a major accomplishment for most programs, but it's practically forgotten for the Hoyas.

"We don't want to sit and take stock on the season and say 'ah, I'm satisfied,' or 'I'm not satisfied.' Well actually I can say I'm not satisfied. But we don't approach the season, the games like that," head coach Thompson said. "If you get enough good wins, that turns into a good season. But we can't talk about the season yet."

Prediction: I hate to say this is an easy one because Indiana proved last night anything can happen, but I'm not concerned about Georgetown talent wise, they just need to match it with effort.
