With a price tag of $3,000, the new Aston Martin Silver Cross Surf baby stroller is the perfect gift for a toddler--well, if you're Blue Ivy Carter.
The luxury car recently revealed their lavish stroller which promises to give parents the "ultimate in comfort for your baby and in style for you." Some of its features include a leather handle bar, a winter footmuff, detachable baby carrier, a sun shield and rain shield, a folding detachable shopping basket and a seat made of the material Alcantara and leather. In addition, the wheels on the stroller are modeled after the signature wheels on Aston Martin's $1.7 million One-77 car.
Only 800 of the limited edition strollers are being made available via the Harrods website, a renowned British department store, which describes it as "the world's most outstanding contemporary baby travel system."
"The handle bar... is made of fine Italian leather," said Jonathan Halsall, commercial manager for Silver Cross. "It's the same leather that's used in the Aston Martin steering wheel."
The stroller is built on a precision-engineered chassis and is "the world's most outstanding contemporary baby travel system," states the Harrods website.
The top-of-the-line limited edition stroller would be an upgrade even for Blue Ivy. Baby Blue is currently riding in a special-edition all-black Bugaboo Cameleon stroller that costs $1,029 which was donated to her parents Jay-Z and Beyonce by their good friend Gwyneth Paltrow. One reason Paltrow bought the Bugaboo was because of its name, which is coincidentally the same as Destiny Child's 1999 hit.
