He was nominated for the Academy Award for his work on "The Prestige," "Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight" and won for "Inception." He also worked on Bennett Miller's "Moneyball" and "The Italian Job." Pfister recently hit headlines when he bad mouthed "Marvels' The Avengers" stating that the film was "Appalling." He stated "They'd shoot from some odd angle and I'd think, why is the camera there? Oh, I see, because they spent half a million on the set and they have to show it off. It took me completely out of the movie. I was driven bonkers by that illogical form of storytelling."
Christopher Nolan is currently in pre-production for his new film "Interstellar," a movie that Steven Spielberg was set to direct. He is also producing Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" which he also wrote the story for.
Principal photography is set to begin in April in Los Angeles. The movie will open on April 25, 2014 by Warner Bros.
