On Saint Patrick's Day, Prince William and Kate Middleton will pay a visit to the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, St. James's Palace.
According to a press release, the Duke of Cambridge will attend the annual parade as Colonel of the Regiment while his pregnant wife will present the traditional sprigs of shamrocks to the Officers and Guardsmen of the Regiment. The royal couple will be wearing full ceremonial uniforms of scarlet tunics and bearskins while they watch 200 soldiers march to the parade square at the base.
Until then, the 31-year-old duchess will make a number of public appearances around the town to meet locals and visit the Fishing Heritage Centre, Fire Station and opening Havelock Academy.
Tomorrow, March 5, the four month pregnant mother-to-be will visit the Lincolnshire town of Grimsby. Reports say that the town is excited to see the royals and will welcome the Duchess of Cambridge with the red carpet.
According to a report by Thisisgrimsby.co.uk, Kate will be greeted with homemade biscuits upon her arrival and a musical theatre performance when she opens Havelock Academy with pupils excited tomorrow afternoon.
Middleton returned to royal duties two weeks ago when she stopped by an Action on Addiction centre in south London. She was forced to cancel a host of engagements last December after being admitted to hospital with severe morning sickness.
Over the weekend, Middleton enjoyed a relaxing weekend in Switzerland with her husband Prince William and Prince Harry for a friend's wedding.
