Yesterday Perez Hilton shared some breaking news. No, we are not talking about the usual celebrity gossip that makes headlines, but about the birth of his first son!
The Cuban-American -- whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr. -- put the news on his site, PerezHilton.com, in a post called "A Very Important Message From Perez."
"I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy - with lots of hair on his tiny head!" said Perez.
On the site Perez included a picture of him warmly embracing his little boy.
The blogger did not add further details of the birth.
"I am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life," added the blogger. "And I am honored and ready for the challenge of guiding him through his."
Just like Colombian singer Shakira and Gerard Piqué with the birth of their baby Milan, it seems that the blogger has decided to not do a baby shower but instead ask for donations.
"Thank you again for baby well-wishes!" Perez tweeted. "For those asking, In lieu of gifts, consider a donation to help other kids HERE https://www.crowdrise.com/perezbday."
Perez has partnered with VH1 Save the Music Foundation and The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network in order to raise money for each cause. Anyone can donate through March 16. Each donation will be entered for a chance to attend Perez's birthday in Los Angeles with a guest.
All of the blogger's friends and fans have retweeted the news on the social media site and have congratulated him nonstop.
Stars like Denise Richards, Emma Bunton, Carson Daly, Jay Manuel, Paris Hilton and Ricky Marting have showed him a lot of love.
"I can't stop crying!" Perez tweeted yesterday. "Every time someone Tweets me 'Congrats Dad' or 'Daddy' the tears just start streaming! #PoppaPerez."
