David Spade is set to take on a new role in a new ABC pilot sitcom "Bad Management."
The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and current "Rules of Engagement" actor is being cast alongside "Hangover" Rachael Harris for the pilot that is said to be about a self-centered female boss at a luxury department store who is challenged by her son, David Spade, who wants to market the company in a more youthful and sexy light, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Harris' role is one of the employees in the high-end store and aside from acting in the show, she is also the writer and executive producer of the pilot.
Spade has been with CBS's "Rules of Engagement" for quite some time now and the show, who has been on the verge of cancellation territory, still has priority over the actor.
But if "Rules of Engagement" is renewed for another year, then "Bad Management" will have to conduct a star search for a new actor.
Aaron Kaplan, from "The Neighbors" and "GCB," will produce the show, according to Reuters.
