Volvo is expected to debut their redesigned S80 and XC70 models at the 2013 Geneva auto show early next month.
The 2014 Volvo S80 has undergone some styling transformations including new front and rear bumpers that give the flagship sedan a more aggressive road presence, as well as redesigned daytime running lights and available 19-inch wheels.
And the 2014 Volvo XC70 also receives some new features for the model year, including a new front grille, skid plates and taillights.
The S80 features rectangular daytime running lights and rounded taillights that make the sedan more current and up-to-date.
"We have created a wider proportion on the front grille and added more detail, such as chrome exterior headlights, to give the car an elegant feel," said Fedde Talsma, Volvo's exterior design director.
The 2014 S80 is also expected to host new tech features like a touchscreen with Internet connectivity that can even be operated while wearing gloves, according to the automaker. Music streaming, Internet radio and browsing are just some of the functions that the new tech system is capable of.
As far as performance goes, the new S80 is expected to carry over the same powertrain with a 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 240 horsepower and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower.
The 2014 Volvo S80 is expected to go on sale in the summer of 2013 with pricing made available closer to that date.
But the S80 is not the only new model making its debut in Geneva next month.
Volvo's XC70 is also slated to make an appearance at the auto show, boasting its redesigned crossover vehicle with an updated interior and slightly transformed exterior.
