Pokémon X and Y Versions: 'X' More Likely to Purchased than 'Y' in Head-to-Head Poll Results (POLL)

Pokémon fans will have four options this October when it comes to the upcoming sixth generation games.

With "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" set to be released across Australia, Europe, Japan, and North America in eight months, Pokémon fans can buy either "X" or "Y" games, or purchase both as it'll likely follow the exclusive nature of Pokémon as seen since the first-generation games "Red" and "Blue," or "Green" if you live in Japan.

Latinos Post asked fans, in an unscientific poll, on which version of the sixth generation games they'd likely buy. For over 24 hours the poll has been neck and neck but as of 3 p.m. EST on Feb. 27, one version managed to win by nine votes.

Latinos Post provided four options to readers: whether they plan on buying "Pokémon X," "Pokémon Y," both, or neither.

"Pokémon X," which will feature the new mascot legendary Xerneas, received the most votes with 38.13 percent, while "Pokémon Y," which will feature the other new mascot Pokémon Yveltal, received 35.86 percent.

Pokémon fans are also likely to buy both new versions. The option of "both" games received 21.46 percent of the vote.

While there will be fans buying both versions, there are the Pokémon fans that will not be interested. Five percent of the poll selected that they don't plan on buying neither game coming October.

"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will be available in October, but pre-orders are being accepted by Amazon, GameStop, and Walmart right now.
