It has been nearly a month since a little known YouTube personality named Filthy Frank released his "Do the Harlem Shake" video on the DizastaMusic YouTube Channel and started a global trend with no end in sight. Frank's ridiculous dance to the heavy based club banger Harlem Shake produced by Baauer has not only been imitated on dance floors but offices spaces, military bases, and even the sets of popular television shows.

If your not one of the 100 million plus viewers who have seen at least one of the 12,000 imitation videos that have been uploaded on YouTube you should know that these 30-second long videos can be contagious and have proven to spread like a fever. Millions have watched but its fair to say that thousands have participated in creating these videos that feature dancers spontaneously busting out a move without any care for choreography. And more are to come.

With that said, be aware that there are some hilarious and creative videos out there but just as many bad ones. However, the top five most viewed videos below are hands down classics that will go down as works of art that will eventually be feature in a museum exhibit -- yet to be constructed -- dedicated to internet material that for unexplained reasons simply goes viral.

At No. 1 is the Harlem Shake (original army edition) with 34,689,311 views and counting. This video was created by Norwegian Army troops who thankfully were unarmed during taping.

At No. 2 is the UGA Men's Swim & Dive Harlem Shake at 26,223,430 views. All these fellas at the Univesity of George are missing is an under water strobe light.

Coming in at No. 3 is Do the Harlem Shake Original created by the maniac responsible for sparking this wildfire. At last count this video was viewed 22,606,563 times.

At No. 4 with 17,093,167 views is The Harlem Shake v1 (TSCS original).

And at No. 5 is The Harlem Shake v2 with 10,181,761 views. These guys were smart enough to plug the Wounded Warriors Project on their post.

And finally, honorable mention also goes out to the Harlem Shake (Matt and Kim Edition), the duo's video has been viewed 9,596,019. This clip is full of energy as the Brooklyn based performers get down to an arena full of fans.
