A Canadian ticket company is reportedly suing Taylor Swift for keeping the proceeds from a concert she never performed, TMZ reports.
The celebrity gossip site says they obtained a lawsuit revealing that Swift was supposed to perform in the Capital Hoedown, a "huge country music concert" in Ottawa, last summer. But planning for the concert apparently fell through, and the concert had to be cancelled.
According to TMZ, Swift had already been paid a $2.5 million fee upfront before the concert was cancelled, and now, concert organizers say she should give it back.

The unnamed Canadian ticket company working on the concert had to refund $1.8 million in tickets, and they claim it is Swift's responsibility to pay for the refunds (which, TMZ points out, would still leave her with a $700,000 profit).
Taylor Swift's represented told TMZ that they had never made an agreement with the ticket company, "which means she's not exactly rushing to fork over a $1.8 million check."
Swift has an overall net worth of $80 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com, and has made over $45 million "off album sales, touring, merchandise, and endorsements."
Swift was also named #11 on Forbes's top 100 wealthiest celebrities list last year, and according to Forbes, she earned over $1 million per night during her tour in early 2012, which included more than 65 concert dates.
