It seems that every actor in the business is interested in participating in the upcoming "Star Wars Episode 7." Harrison Ford is reportedly returning to the franchise. Yoda creator Frank Oz has expressed his desire to reprise his role. Other thespians that have announced their interest include Ewan McGregor, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Samuel L. Jackson, and Keri Russell. Now you can add Olivia Munn and Jeremy Bulloch to that list.
Bulloch, who created the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the original trilogy, has stated that he is willing to reprise the role for the new movies. "Yes, that would be fun," Bulloch stated about playing the bounty hunter again. "But I come at a price!" He was also excited about the notion of a spin-off movie on Boba Fett. He noted that he would love to see "what led him to become a Bounty Hunter," and added that the animosity between Han and Boba "goes back a long way, and it would be interesting to see the reasons behind it."
Actress Olivia Munn has also mentioned her desire to be in the upcoming Star Wars movies. When asked whether she would be trying out for a role in the new movie she responded, "Id do anything on Star Wars, even craft service." Keri Russell had a similar response weeks ago when she made note of her interest in acting in Star Wars. Russell said that she would "do anything for [director J.J. Abrams]. I would do crafts services if he asked!"
Munn is currently in "New Girl" and "The News Room." She was also showcased in the recent Steven Soderbergh film "Magic Mike." Bulloch was last seen in a video called "Musik" back in 2010. He was also a part of the series "Starhyke" back in 2009.
Star Wars was originally slated for a 2015 release date, but its launch is not set in stone. J.J. Abrams has been signed on to direct while Michael Arndt will pen the script.
