A week after taking a hard fall at the slopes at the Alpine Ski World Championships in Austria, Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn shared photos of her injured leg after undergoing surgery via social media.

The skier tore her ACL and MCL in her right knee and suffered from a broken bone. In the photos her leg appears badly bruised and swollen. Keeping a sense of humor, the caption read, "My knee looks...um...not very good.... #longskirtsthissummer #ugh."

She has also posted two other post-surgery photos, one of with her family surrounding her as leg is encased in a large cast and another of her doing rehabilitation exercises with a medicine ball. With Red Bull as her sponsor, Vonn trained next to a bottle of the energy drink, and the photo caption reads "Not letting obstacles stand in your way #givesyouwings." Von added, "When you fall, get back up!!"

On Sunday, the 28-year-old skier underwent a successful surgery to repair her two ligaments. Doctors say that with the surgery and aggressive rehab she should be able to make a full recovery. "The overall success rate for ACL-MCL [anterior cruciate ligament-medial collateral ligament] surgery is very good," sais Dr. William Sterett, the physician for the U.S. ski team who performed the surgery at the in Colorado. "Modern surgical techniques combined with aggressive rehabilitation will help Lindsey make a full recovery.

The sexy athlete has also been making headlines due to rumors that she's secretly dating pro-golfer Tiger Woods.

HollywoodLife.com reports that Woods and Vonn started dating last November, although the gold medalist was initially wary of trusting the Masters winner due to his infamous cheating scandal that unfolded in 2009. Woods was exposed to be a serial cheater who had over twenty affairs while married to Elin Nordegren. After their divorce in 2010, Woods sought counseling for sex addiction.
