Patrick Carney is himself again on Twitter. The Black Keys drummer angered a legion of Beliebers over the weekend when he briefly changed his Twitter profile picture to a photo of Bieber.
His Twitter prank was part of a feud between the singers that began when Carney said Bieber should not have been upset about not receiving any Grammy nominations last year.
"He's rich, right?" Carney told TMZ last week, adding, "Grammys are for like music, not for money...and he's making lots of money. He should be happy."

Bieber, who was nominated for two Grammys in 2011 but he has never won, shot back on Twitter, "The black keys drummer should be slapped around haha."
Then a few days later, presumably in an effort to further provoke the Canadian pop star, Carney changed his Twitter profile pic to a photo of Bieber and tweeted, "I am Justin now."

Scores of Bieber fans ripped into Carney over the photo. "You is firefly compared to the brilliance of Justin," one user said. Another added, "Justin will school you on the basketball court and on the drums." And one user tweeted, "I hope you get hit by a bus!"
On Sunday night, Carney changed his profile pic back to an avatar of himself and tweeted, "Justin is gone now. DNA recombo unsuccessful. I will try again soon though!"
Carney's band won three Grammys this year, including awards for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song.
