Former NFL star Terrell Owens is in trouble with the law after a woman's call to 911 Friday told police that the gridiron star refused to leave her home.

An L.A. woman told police that Owens, a six-tie Pro Bowler, reportedly would not stop banging on her door and continued to be outside her home for three hours before the Los Angeles Police Department could arrive in the early morning hours on Friday at 4:30 a.m, TMZ reported.

"Owens was NOT arrested ... but according to law enforcement sources, the woman who lives in the home says she couldn't get the guy to go away after she made it clear he wasn't welcome," the website stated.

During his 14-year NFL career, Owens, now 39, amassed impressive stats, including 1,078 career receptions, 15,935 receiving yards, 153 receiving touchdowns and 942 points scored. He is only the fifth player to reach 150 touchdowns and is ranked second on the all-time list in receiving yards behind NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice.

The Friday incident was just the latest in a long line of legal troubles for Owens. Since he retired in 2010, Owens had a warrant for his arrest issued in 2011 after he failed to pay child support and appear before a judge.

As Sports Illustrated notes, the Seattle Seahawks signed Owens during the during the second week of 2012 training camp, but cut him during the preseason.
