Now that pop icon Lady Gaga will be taking a rest from her "Born This Way" world tour due to a severe hip injury, it seems as if Mother Monster might be taking a seat on "The X-Factor"--at least that's what X-Factor judge Demi Lovato is hoping for!
According to Celebuzz, Demi Lovato would love for Lady Gaga to replace Britney Spears as a judge on the reality singing competition. In interview with Extra, Lovato said that she's hoping to see the "Bad Romance" singer sitting next to her at the judge's table. "I would love to see Lady Gaga," Lovato said. "I don't know if that's possible or not."
Along with Spears, music industry executive LA Reid is also leaving the show and reports say that Lovato is unsure if she will return as a judge on the next season, herself. "I have no idea what's gonna happen next season, and I don't think anybody does," Lovato told MTV News. "It's just crazy 'cause at the same time, just like L.A. is, I'm trying to build a career for my own too. It was an amazing experience and I loved doing this show. It's just, there's no way to tell."
Lovato is working on her upcoming album and focusing her career on her new single "Heart Attack," she explained to MTV News. "For a while, I could tell that when people would talk to me, they knew my story. I think I've opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve and I started to grow," she explained. "These are songs about the celebration of life and how rewarding it can be. This is what this album is about."
