The #15 Georgetown Hoyas are in Cincinnati to face the Bearcats in a Big East Conference basketball match-up on Friday at 9 p.m. EST on ESPN. It is the only game tonight featuring a top-25 team.

The Hoyas have won six games in a row, including three games against ranked teams. In the last 30 days, Georgetown has topped #24 Notre Dame on the road, #5 Louisville at home and #18 Marquette at home.

Otto Porter, Jr. is the leading scorer for the Hoyas, recording 15.3 points per game. He's also the leading rebounder at 7.9 boards per contest. Markel Starks and Nate Lubick are tied for the team lead in assists with 2.9 per game, while Lubick (.617) has the best shooting percentage. Porter, Jr. has the best three-point shot (.443).

Georgetown beat Marquette on Monday 63-55. Porter, Jr. had 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in the home win. The Hoyas had a slight edge in rebounding (30-26) and assists (14-10), but were outshot from the floor and the three-point line.

The Bearcats have lost two of their last three games and each of their last two against ranked opponents. Cincinnati is seventh in the country in rebounding, averaging 41.1 boards per contest. Syracuse, Marquette and Georgetown are all tied for first in the Big East with 8-3 conference records, and the Bearcats are 1.5 games out but in eighth place (7-5). All but one of the teams in front of them in the conference are ranked.

Sean Kilpatrick is the leading scorer for the Bearcats with 18.2 points per game on average. Titus Rubles averages 5.9 rebounds per game, and Cashmere Wright's 3.4 assists are tops on the squad. Kilpatrick is the best shooter on the team among the top scorers with a .422 clip, and JaQuon Parker's .421 shooting percentage from behind the arc is the best on his team.

Kilpatrick and Parker both put up 19 points in the 68-50 win over Villanova on Tuesday.

Both match-ups last season were close games, as Cincinnati won by four points on January 9 and two points in the Big East Tournament March 8.
