The Pokémon Company International has confirmed the English translation of the new Eevee evolution first known as Ninfia.
The Japanese Ninfia was revealed on Tuesday following the magazine "CoroCoro" displaying the eighth evolution of the Eevee Pokémon.
The new Eevee evolution Pokémon, which will make its game debut in "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" in October, has been revealed to be named Sylveon.
After the magazine leak, Pokémon.com has confirmed the new pocket monster as well as its exact height, weight, and name translations for Spanish, French, and German Pokémon fans.
Sylveon's height is 3'03," weighing 51.8-lbs.
The Sylveon name is the same in Spanish and Italian, while it will be known as "Nymphali" in French and "Feelinara" in Deutsch.
Despite confirming the Sylveon name, height, and weight, the type is still unclear. Speculation among fans suggest it will be a normal type or flying type, perhaps even the highly rumored new type "light."
An in-game battle scene with some moves being displayed has made its debut, one appears to be Swift.
"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will make its debut in October, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
