Rihanna caused a stir when she showed up to the 2013 Grammy Awards with her ex-boyfriend singer Chris Brown four years after he hospitalized her during a domestic dispute. However, not only are critics and fans disappointed with Rihanna's decision to give the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer a second chance, but sources say that Rih Rih's celebrity friends aren't happy that they're back together either.
An inside source told Us Weekly that pop singer Katy Perry objects to the "Diamonds" singer's renewed relationship with Brown and that her disapproval has caused distance in her personal relationship with Rihanna. Last year at the 54th Grammy Awards, Perry and Rihanna spent the night mingling like they were best friends. However, at the award show on Sunday, the two kept their distance.
"They aren't tight anymore because Katy doesn't approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown," an insider told Us Weekly.
Instead of chatting with one another Perry spent the evening with her boyfriend John Mayer while Rihanna and Brown remained cuddled up elsewhere in the audience.
After the award show, Rihanna and Brown were spotted sipping on cocktails and "getting very affectionate" at the Zing Vodka Post Grammy Party held at Hollywood's Supperclub, an observer told Us. They were also whispering in each other's ears throughout the night .
On the other hand actress Jessica Biel seemed to spark a budding friendship with Beyonce at the 55th Grammys' Awards. Biel and her husband Justin Timberlake sat front row at the music award show next to Mr. and Mrs. Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. As Biel and Timberlake held hands, a photo caught Biel sharing a laugh with the "Single Ladies" singer which can be seen at the Huffington Post.
