Some fashion designers refused to lend clothes to Kim Kardashian for her recent photo shoot with Elle, the magazine revealed.
Kardashian worked with celebrated stylist Nicola Formichetti for her three-page spread in the March issue of Elle. Formichetti, who is known for styling Lady Gaga, admitted to Elle that dressing Kardashian was "a challenge" initially because "people wouldn't lend me the clothes. But that's fashion snobbery."

This wasn't the first time Kardashian has been snubbed by fashion designers. Earlier this year, Project Runway's Tim Gunn said he wouldn't dress pregnant Kim Kardashian "under any circumstances," according to USA Today.
And Fashionista reports that jewelry designer Alexis Bittar, who at one time regularly loaned pieces to Kardashian, announced publicly that he would no longer lend her his products after he noticed that her own Belle Noel jewelry line copied several of his designs.
"Kim's pieces were very similar to mine, and she definitely has been taking note [of my designs]," Bittar told the NY Post. "I have told my staff we cannot send anything to her. She was definitely influenced by my designs without a doubt."

Kardashian's representatives denied having copied Bittar's designs, saying that any similarities are purely coincidental.
