The 137th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show began on Monday Feb. 11 at the Madison Square Garden.

The Four competitions completed on Monday were the Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding. The Hound competition was won by Pandora's Box, an American foxhound. Second place went to Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, a Basset Hound, while the third place went to Maggie May, a Petits Bassets Griffons Vendeen. Mr. Luc Boileau judged the competition.

The Toy competition was judged by Mr. Dennis McCoy and was won by the Affenpinscher named  Banana Joe V Tani Kazari. The second prize was awarded to Red Glare, a Minature Pinscher, while the third place was given to Chase What Matters, a Pomeranian.

The Non-Sporting breed's first place winner was Honor To Pillowtalk, a Bichons Frises. The second place winner was a Poodle named Encore. The Warrior, a French bulldog, scored the third place award.

The winner of the Herding competition was an Old English Sheepdog called Swagger. The second prize went to a Puli named Picture Perfect and third place was awarded to a Beauceron named Beowolf Rime Des Monts Du Lac.

On Feb. 12th, the second day of the show, the sporting, working, and terrier breeds will compete in their respective categories. Additionally the Best in Show Award will also be revealed.

A new phone app has been released that will enable fans and viewers to keep track of the competition. For those who do not want to attend, the show will be broadcast at 8 p.m. on CNBC. USA Network will present encores of the previous night's spectacle at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
