Kevin Durant made a very kind gesture towards a fan who may have been hurt in Sunday's game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Phoenix Suns in Arizona. Durant kissed an older woman in the stands after she was hit in the face with the ball just moments before.
The Thunder went on to win the game 97-69. The usual leading scorer of the Thunder, Durant, was third on the team in points that game, scoring 18 on the night. Kevin added seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks to his stats in the Thunder's 39th win of the season. Russell Westbrook led OKC in points with 24 and steals with four. He also contributed six assists. Thabo Sefolosha had an impressive +38 next to his name on the box score, meaning the Thunder outscored the Suns by that many when the starting shooting guard was on the court. Oklahoma City shot 9-for-17 from three-point land.
Only one player had double-digit points for the Suns: Markieff Morris, who added 12.
Over his last ten games, Durant is averaging 26.6 points per game and is shooting better than .500 on the floor (.519). You can see Kevin Durant's bio and statistics here. His stat splits are actually even higher when the Thunder loses the game.
The leader of the Thunder has been the NBA scoring champion in each of the last three seasons, an all-star in this campaign plus the previous three and was the Rookie of the Year in 2008. He holds four franchise records for the Oklahoma City Thunder (all dating back to the Seattle Super Sonics days).
