On Feb. 10 the British Academy Awards will hand out their prestigious Film Awards.

The organization comprised of Oscar voters, is generally known as one of the best Academy Awards predictors.   

This year the nominees for Best Film are "Argo," "Les Miserables," "Lincoln," "Life of Pi," and "Zero Dark Thirty."

Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty), Ben Affleck (Argo), Ang Lee (Life of Pi), Michael Haneke (Amour), and Quentin Tarantino (Django Unchained) will compete for the Best Director award.

The Lead Actor nominees are Daniel Day Lewis (Lincoln), Ben Affleck (Argo), Joaquin Phoenix (The Master), Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook), and Hugh Jackman (Les Miserables.

The Best Actress race will be disputed by Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Emmanuelle Riva (Amour), Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook), Marion Cotillard (Rust and Bone), and Helen Mirren (Hitchcock).

The Supporting Actress nominees are Amy Adams (The Master), Helen Hunt (The Sessions), Sally Field (Lincoln), Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables), and Judi Dench (Skyfall).      

Phillip Seymour Hoffman (The Master), Javier Bardem (Skyfall), Tommy Lee Jones (Lincoln), Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), and Alan Arkin (Argo) comprise the Best Supporting Actor race.

Among the stars expected to show up are Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Craig, Alicia Vikander, Marion Cotillard, Ben Affleck, Elizabeth Olsen, Suraj Sharma, and Andrea Risborough.

The ceremony will be held at the Royal Opera House and will be hosted by Stephen Fry.
