2013 State of the Union Address Date: ABC, NBC, Fox News, MSNBC TV Schedule Coverage for President Obama's Feb. 12 Speech

The broadcast and news networks are preparing for President Barack Obama's first State of the Union address following his second inauguration as commander-in-chief.

The annual State of the Union address is scheduled for Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. EST and will air on all broadcast networks and cable news channels and the media are preparing for it.

ABC will have Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos anchor the main coverage of the address from Washington D.C. Accompanying the ABC News journalists are Jonathan Karl from the White House and Martha Raddatz from the U.S. Capitol.

After the address, ABC's coverage will continue on "Nightline" as Terry Moran anchors from the nation's capital where the network will analyze Obama's speech as well as the Republican response delivered by Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

NBC's State of the Union coverage will begin at 8:45 p.m. EST with an online web show before moving over to broadcast television at 9 p.m. "NBC Nightly News" and Rock Center" anchor Brian William will administer the peacock network's coverage with "Meet the Press" anchor David Gregory, "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie, and MSNBC anchors Andrea Mitchell and Chuck Todd.

The NBC coverage will have Sen. Rubio's Republican response and interviews with New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, who delivered the Republican response a few years ago.

Over at MSNBC, Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews will start their coverage at 8 p.m. EST. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Hayes, and Melissa Harris-Perry will accompany Maddow and Matthews. Ezra Klein, Michael Steele, Eugene Robinson, Robert Gibbs, Victoria DeFrancesco Soto, and Howard Fineman will provide contribution.

Starting at midnight, Matthews will anchor alone with guests David Corn, Joy-Ann Reid, Democratic strategist and speechwriter Bob Shrum, and Ron Reagan.

The Fox News Channel will have Bret Baier anchoring solo, absent is Megyn Kelly who has been paired with Baier during the inauguration and November's election coverage. FNC's coverage starts at 8:55 p.m. EST with Juan Williams, Charles Krauthammer, and Nina Easton providing commentary while Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry and Chief Congressional Correspondent.

The Fox Broadcasting Networks will have Shepard Smith anchoring and will be joined by "Fox News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace for post-speech analysis.
