Celebrities have been making appearances at New York Fashion Week since it began on Thursday. On Friday, Super Bowl Champion Joe Flacco came out to the Tommy Hilfiger show in spite of Nemo, the winter blizzard that stomped through the Northeastern coast.
Just days after winning the Super Bowl in New Orleans, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback sat front row at the Hilfiger show with his wife Dana Grady. ''It was pretty cool. It was a lot quicker than I thought it would have been,'' said Flacco after watching his first fashion show at the Park Avenue Armory. He admitted that his teammates would mock him if they knew he attended the high profile fashion event. ''You know they'd probably pick on me a little bit, but it was a lot of fun,'' said Flacco.
Earlier in the week, other celebs, including Olympic champion Gabby Douglas, actress Minka Kelly and singer Toni Braxton not only attended Fashion Week, but had a chance to strut their stuff on the catwalk at Fashion Weeks' Heart Truth red dress event .
"I hope I don't fall," Kelly told reporters. "I don't mind if I trip a little -- I did that last year."
Wendy Williams, Roselyn Sanchez and Kendall and Kylie Jenner also attended the Heart Truth Fashion Week Show, which raised awareness about the dangers of heart disease for women.
"I'm here for the cause. Heart disease is the number one killer of us. I have a lot of responsibility and people who count on me," said Williams.
