The eighth season of Fox's hit crime-solving drama 'Bones,' has been one filled with suspense, surprises and of course some laughs. The return of Christopher Pelant (guest star Andrew Leeds) has further led the show to interesting twists and turns. Latinos Post has rounded up some upcoming spoilers, guest star details and scoop on Monday's episode, "The Shot in the Dark."
Guest Stars: The Jeffersonian is going to get a new squintern and he's going to put Brennan (Emily Deschanel) on edge. TV Line confirmed that 'Fraiser' alum Brian Klugman is joining the gang as the recurring character Oliver Wells, who's got four degrees and isn't afraid of Brennan. Tamara Taylor, who plays Cam, told TV Line, "He actually makes Brennan nervous-he's that smart. And I think he'll be around for a while, because he's very fun."
Fans will so get to meet Brennan's mom, played by guest star Brooke Langton, in the upcoming episode "The Shot in the Dark." Brennan's near-death experience with her dead mother will make her seriously take a look into her life.
Upcoming Episodes: The show's next episode, "The Shot in the Dark," puts Brennan in a near death situation when she's shot while working late at the Jeffersonian. The event causes Brennan to re-evaluate her life. Deschanel told TV Line, "As the season goes on, it's a subtle change. It's not like people are discussing it right afterwards, but I think it will be addressed in later episodes this season. ...It shines a light on her behavior and maybe encourages her to change a bit."
The actress also shared another tidbit about a future episode involving lather to TV Line. She said, "In one of the upcoming episodes, a body is found in soap! A big thing of soap. The body decomposes and the fan, combined with other things, becomes soap."
'Bones' airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
