Pop icon Britney Spears may be the newest attraction in Las Vegas! In a statement released on Friday, the Caesar's Entertainment Group confirmed that they are in the process of working out a deal with the former "X Factor" judge to perform at Planet Hollywood.
"Caesars Entertainment is continuously working to redefine the Las Vegas entertainment landscape," wrote Caesars Entertainment, the owner of Las Vegas casino. "As a pioneer of the modern Las Vegas headlining residency model, Caesars Entertainment regularly engages in conversations with today's top artists to perform at any number of our Las Vegas resorts. We can now confirm the company is actively engaged in discussions with Britney Spears' representatives regarding a potential headlining residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino."
It still has not been determined how often the "Oops, I Did It Again" singer will perform. Some performers hit the stage multiples times each night whereas others are only booked to go on a few days a week. Spears will more than likely three to five times a week. The amoung of money she will be recieving in the deal is also uncertain,
Her manager, Larry Rudolph, told "Extra" that a deal should be cut "very soon. "The 31-year-old singer recently split from Jason Trawick.
The Planet Hollywood Resort features "Peepshow" formerly starring E! reality star Holly Madison, but now features Coco Austin, an E! star and the wife of rapper/actor Ice T. The venue is also home to Cee Lo Green's "Loberace" spectacle, which highlights legendary moments in music history, and Shania Twain at Caesar's Palace.
