On Tuesday, hip hop's royal couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce, went out on a pre-Grammy Awards date, reports US Magazine.
The fierce power couple was spotted dinning together at Cecconi's restaurant in West Hollywood on Tuesday night around 5:30 pm. According to OMG!, the A-list celebrities remained humble and "very, very nice" to fans. "A few people went up to congratulate Beyoncé on her amazing Super Bowl half-time performance and she was so sweet," a diner told omg!. "She was saying how much fun she had."
It's no surprise that the music icons are still on a high from Beyonce's electrifying performance at the NFL Super Bowl XLVII football game. After 12 minutes of Beyonce's larger-than-life mini-concert that included guest appearances from Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, special effects and a stage shaped in the singer's image, half of the New Orleans Superdome stadium went dark due to a power outage. Moments later, Jay-Z proudly tweeted a reference of approval about his wife's over-the-top performance saying "Lights out!!! Any questions???"
During the upcoming Grammy weekend, the parents of Blu Ivy are expected to party at the hottest celebrity spots. In addition, Jay-Z will host his annual Roc Nation Brunch at Soho House in West Hollywood on Sunday. High-profile singers like Beyonce and Rihanna and many others are expected to attend before going to the awards show later on. During the show, Rihanna is performing with Sting and Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé is presenting.
Jay-Z is also on the guest list Saturday for Michael "Blue" Williams & Family Tree Entertainment's Managers Brunch at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood.
