A 54-year-old New York woman was arrested after she passed her jailed son drugs with an open mouthed kiss at a county jail in late January, according to a police report.
Kimberly Margeson has be charged with promoting prison contraband and a felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance , reports say.
On January 29, during a visit at Yates County Jail, Margeson was caught by police attempting to pass oxycodone "from mouth to mouth" to her 30-year-old son, William Partridge who is serving time at the prison. He has also been charged with promoting prison contraband.
The Associated Press reports that "She pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband" and was freed after posting bail.
Margeson was arraigned in Middlesex Court, NY, and has been released on $2,000 bail. Partridge is scheduled to appear before a judge on the new charges on February 11 at Penn Yan Court.
