It looks like living at home with your parents well after college is not just something poor recent-grads do anymore. "Silver Linings Playbook" actor Bradley Cooper admitted on Tuesday to living at home with his mother during an interview with late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel.
The 38-year-old film actor made the revelation after being asked where he was when he found out his was nominated for the Oscar for his work on David O. Russell's "Silver Linings Playbook."
Cooper said he was at home when he decided to watch the nominations at 5:35 a.m. "I woke my mother up and we were both sitting there," the former Sexiest Man Alive managed to say before Kimmel asked him if he was still living with his mother. "Yeah, yeah I am," Cooper said with a smile.
The interview took a turn for the weird when he proceeded to add, "Well she was sleeping right next to me, and I just said...I just leaned over and said, 'Hey baby, you want to get up and watch that.'" He added in between laughs, "This is getting so sick now!"
The actor, known for his turn in "The Hangover" among other movies, added that he would be taking his mother as his date to the Oscars in an earlier interview with ET. He said that she hadn't found her dress yet and he hoped she wouldn't jump ship. "I'm going to be the caretaker that night," Cooper said. "We'll be there together, which is great. I mean it's a big night for us."
Cooper added that he started living with his mom again after his dad passed away. "Well that's just the way it is if you grow up in an Italian household," he told ET's Nancy O'Dell.
