The Butler Bulldogs are facing St. Bonaventure in Atlantic-10 action Wednesday night at 7:00 pm EST. Butler enters the game having alternated between losses and wins since the upset of #8 Gonzaga in mid-January.

The Bulldogs are 14th in the country according to both the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Polls, just two weeks removed from having their highest rank in both at #9. Butler is 3-0 against ranked teams this season, with all three victories coming against teams in the top 10 at the time. All three have been home games, one went to overtime, and the most recent of them was a one-point contest, but the Bulldogs have still pulled them out. They are second in the conference with a 5-2 record, just half a game behind unranked Virginia Commonwealth.
Rotnei Clarke is the team's leading scorer, averaging 17.1 points per game. He also leads the squad with a .443 three-point shooting percentage. Roosevelt Jones dishes the ball most efficiently of anyone on the team, averaging 3.6 assists per contest. He also leads the rebounds category with 5.5 a game. Khyle Marshall has a team-high .555 shooting percentage.
The Bulldogs played the first of their two home games this home stand against Rhode island, topping Rhody 75-68. Clarke had a game-high 23 points, but had almost half (7) of the team's 15 turnovers. Jones (18) and Marshall (13) each added performances above their season averages, with Jones also six rebounds and four assists to lead the way in those categories.
The St. Bonaventure Bonnies have won three of their last four games, the first two both on the road. The Upstate New York team is at 10-10 on the season, 3-4 in conference play.
Demitrius Conger has a higher points-per-game average than anyone on the team with 14.2, while also leading in rebounds (7) and assists (2.8). Marquise Simmons has the highest shooting percentage among the Bonnies as one of the two players above 50 percent (.526).
In the Bonnies' last game, the team made more than half of its three-point shot attempts and beat visiting Duquesne 68-60 on Saturday. Eric Mosley led all the home team's scorers with 14 points. Jordan Gathers (13) and Conger (11) both had double digit points as well. Chris Johnson pulled down five rebounds and Charlon Kloof supplied four assists off of the bench.
