During the red carpet premiere of her new film "El Sueño de Ivan," Mexican actress Ana Claudia Talancon rejected any rumors of her ruptured relationship with actor Jose Maria Tavira.
Talancon told reporters that the paparazzi have invented everything about her separation because she has decided not to speak about it. She stated that she does not like to talk about her private life and that everything that journalists have said are lies.
She added that she was not willing to accept any of the rumors and did not care what they thought. Instead she changed the subject and told reporters that the producers of her new film were going to present it to their foundation which supports children's education.
Talancon also added that there was going to be a number of other activities to help support the children's foundation including a chef competition, a golf tournament, a marathon and even a trip to an amusement park.
Lastly, Talancon spoke about the subject matter of her film. She stated that it is about friendship, love, unity and communication. She added that the themes are all demonstrated thorough soccer, a sport that unifies a nation.
"El Sueño de Ivan" opens in Mexico on Feb. 5 and also stars Academy Award nominee Demian Bichir, Ernesto Alterio, Carla Campra and Oscar Casas.
