NASA is inviting 150 of its social media followers on Facebook, Twiter and Google+ to chat live with astronauts on the International Space Station.
"On Wednesday Feb. 20, 150 of NASA's social media followers and their guests will have the unique opportunity to talk to three of the six crew members aboard the International Space Station, and speak with agency scientists and engineers about the ground-breaking research taking place daily on the orbiting laboratory, some 240 miles above Earth," announced the space agency on its website.
Interested participants will need to enter a raffle that opens on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. EST and runs through Thursday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. EST.
"Registration is for one person (you) and one guest, and is non-transferrable. In the case of multiple entries for the same individual, only the first entry received will be considered," said NASA.
You'll need to be an active follower of NASA on a social media site to enter.
"This event is designed for active social media users who follow NASA on Twitter (@NASA, @ISS_Research, @NASASocial), Facebook (NASA, International Space Station) or Google+ (NASA). The goal of NASA Social is to allow people who regularly interact with each other via social networks to meet in person and discuss space exploration.
Users on all social networks are encouraged to use the hashtag #NASASocial. Updates and information about the event will be shared on Twitter via @NASA and @NASASocial and via posts to Facebook and Google+.
Entrants must be at least 18-years-old, but their guests needn't be. Winners will need to provide their own travel to Washington. D.C. to partake in the chat.
NASA intends to announce the winners next week.
