Beyonce's electrifying performance at the NFL Super Bowl XLVII football game left million of viewers in awe and seemed to blow the sockets out of the Superdome--literally! But no one was more proud of the superstar diva than her husband, hip hop mogul Jay-Z, who embraced her with a big hug and shared his esteem for his wife via Twitter.
After 12 minutes of Beyonce's larger-than-life mini-concert during halftime that included guest appearances from Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, special effects and a stage shaped in the singer's image, half of the New Orleans Superdome stadium went dark due to a power outage. Moments later, Jay-Z tweeted a reference of approval about Beyonce's over-the-top performance that wowed fans and hushed critics who were disappointed that the songstress did not sing the National Anthem live during President Obama's Inauguration. "Lights out!!! Any questions???" he wrote to his 2.2 million plus fans on Twitter.

Last week, the "Crazy In Love" singer also blew critics away by singing a surprising live and acapella rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" at a press conference. The multi-Grammy Award winning vocalist ended her stellar performance by asking the crowd "any questions?"
After her heart pounding halftime show, Beyonce remained humble and classy by acknowledging the other leading women who performed at yesterday's Super Bowl game. "What a proud day for African-American women," she wrote on Instagram. "Kelly, Michelle, Alicia and Jhud you are all beautiful, talented and showed so much class. It was an honor to perform at the Super Bowl with you phenomenal ladies."
