The Boston Bruins (5-1-1) will go up against the Toronto Maple Leafs (4-3-0) after their first regulation loss of the season.

The Boston Bruins had won three straight prior to their 7-4 loss against the Buffalo Sabres. Boston was up 3-1 at one point in the game, but eventually let Buffalo run away with the game. Buffalo's Thomas Vanek scored a hat trick and added two assists in the win.
