The presidential election to succeed President Barack Obama appears to be heating up with one name confirming their participation and it's a familiar name.
Lee L. Mercer Jr. is putting his name back in the ring to become the next president of the U.S.
Who is he?
Apparently he also ran in 2008 and is already promoting himself a few years in advance for 2016.
His 2008 platform: "My platform for President of the United States Of America is Criminal Law. It is developed from my Method of Education. I was ordered to create and or invent by the United States Army that is now intact regulating the United States Government protecting it through Military Intelligence Computerization Management a new Disipline I invented and the Administration of Criminal Law Laws across the board.
The Texas native has been given three endorsements, which dates back to April 30, 2010, and those include former U.S. Attorney Janet Reno, the U.S. Congress, and the United Nations.
Mercer Jr. is running under the Democratic Party and filed the FEC documents on Dec. 28, 2012, weeks before President Obama was inaugurated into his second term.
According to BuzzFeed, he is running "because I ran in both previous elections and I have what it takes to solve all these issues that they are having up there."
An advertisement has already been airing, with the message, "[Mercer] is campaigning a Special Election Government Platform New Neutral Developed Intelligence Second U. S. Government that was patented in 2000 by the U.S. Department of Justice and Defense research and development testing."
