The Boston Bruins (4-0-1) will face off against the New Jersey Devils (3-0-1) on Tuesday night.

The Boston Bruins are coming off a 5-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. The match was hotly contested one that saw the Bruins blow a 2-1 first period lead and settle for a 3-3 draw after 40 minutes. In the third, star center Tyler Center finally scored his first goal of the year while David Krejci added the fifth Bston tally. Boston leads the Northeast division with nine points and has yet to lose in regulation.

New Jersey may have had a solid start to the season but they are coming off an overtime loss against the Montreal Canadiens.  The Devils never led in the game. The Devils are the top team in the Atlantic division and have gotten strong play from David Clarkson (six points), Patrick Elias (six points), and Ilya Kovalchuk (five points). 40-year old Martin Brodeur has been a rock in net for the Devils who will look to remain undefeated in regulation.

Tuesday's match marks the first of the season between Boston and New Jersey. Last season the Bruins swept the series outscoring New Jersey 18-8. However both games at the TD Garden were decided by a single goal, with one requiring overtime.

Predictions: Boston and New Jersey have had great starts to the season and look solid. However based on the Bruins record against the Devils, Bruins look like the favorite to win the game. 2-1 Bruins.
