The Boston Bruins (3-0-1) hope to continue their unbeaten streak as they face off against the red-hot Carolina Hurricanes (3-1-0).

Claude Julien's Bruins have not lost in regulation this season. The team has won three of its four matches and was defeated in overtime by the NY Rangers. However, Boston has had two days of rest after its 4-2 win over the NY Islanders and should be in top form heading into Carolina. Goalie Tuuka Rask has been splendid in the four games and the team has gotten strong offensive support throughout the roster. At least 15 players on the team have registered a point so far this season. The Bruins need more from star center Tyler Seguin as the 20-year old has yet to score a single goal this season; he only has one point in four games.

After being blown out 5-1 in their opener to Florida, the Carolina Hurricanes have reeled off three straight wins over the Tampa Bay Lighting and Buffalo Sabres. In their recent hone-and-home match-up with Buffalo, the Hurricanes won both games by a combined score of 9-4. The four Hurricane stars have come as billed this season; Captain Eric Staal broke out for a hat trick in the first game while Alex Semin and Jeff Skinner each scored in the latter match. Jordan Staal has four assists in as many games.

Predictions: This will be one of the more exciting matches of the year. Look for Carolina to win at home however and give Boston its first loss of the season.
