The America's Cup Race has now reached the 12th day of racing in the San Francisco Bay. But for Emirates Team New Zealand and Oracle Team USA, the real war is just about to unfold as sunny weather is expected to prevail on Sunday.

After unpredictable winds washed out all the races on Saturday, it looks like Mother Nature will give the green light for races no. 14 and no. 15 on Sunday with Emirates Team New Zealand all pumped to finish this race once and for all while Oracle Team USA attempting to extend the series to yet another day.

The American summer will officially end at 1:44 p.m. pacific time, providing a perfect sailing condition for the upcoming races. Forecast will be sunny with slow but steady winds. The America's Cup racing committee is expecting winds blowing as fast as 12-15 knots during race no. 14 and 15-18 knots during race no.15* (if Oracle Team USA wins race no.14)

"Sunday it should clear up," Principal Race Officer John Craig said yesterday. "The front is moving through and we should be able to get two races in on Sunday from 230-240 wind direction and 14-16 knots. We want to make sure it's a quality race that's fair for everyone."

Sunday's race also marked the 16th day of America's Cup racing on San Francisco, tying the record set in New Zealand in 2003 for the longest hosting of sailing's most coveted event.
