The star actors of Mexican show "Niñas Mal 2," Isabel Burr and Juan Pablo Gil, suffered a car accident last Friday, Sept. 13, in Mexico City, according to TVNotas.
Both actors were travelling on board a car when they were hit by another vehicle in the streets of the Doctores neighborhood in Mexico City. The accident happened while they were heading home to rest.
"We were in the car and they hit us from behind. Honestly we didn't even notice, we were very tired. I ended up on the very front of the car and Juan Pablo could barely move because his back was really hurt," said Ms. Burr, as shared by the source.
The actress added that they were both later transported to a hospital to be treated by specialists. Website Terra shared that the artist said she was scared and in pain. "My neck hurt and obviously you don't know what's happening. Our faces were scratched," the actress stated.
Isabel Burr, who plays Adela in the new season of TV show "Niñas Mal 2," confessed that neither of them were wearing their seatbelts. They suffered scrapes and light injuries and some contractures because of it. "Thank God it wasn't any worse. We're fine, with a collar and incapacitated, which is a little difficult because we're in the middle of shooting the show. The driver had his seatbelt on and if he hadn't this could have been much worse," she said.
As a consequence of this, the website points out that the shooting of the show will have to be delayed because the doctors recommend complete rest to the actors; Isabel added "They want to give us more days to rest, but honestly we're just about done shooting. There's just a little more to go, between three weeks and a month".
TVNotas highlights that the driver of the car that crashed into the actors' escaped and his identity is still unknown.
