Colombian actress Sofía Vergara might start to watch her step from now on. The 41-year-old star, who was recently named TVs highest paid female star for the second year in a row, fell down the stairs of a restaurant in Beverly Hills on Thursday, Sept. 5, news site TN reported.
Vergara was visiting West Hollywood restaurant, Absolutely Phobolous, to treat herself with some Vietnamese food. The "Modern Family" star was wearing high platforms that caused her to stumble and fall down the stairs. Luckily, one of her friends helped her get on her feet, the Daily Mail reported. The actress laughed off the embarrassing fall and continued on her way.

Recently, Vergara occupied first place on Forbes' list of the best paid television actresses in the United States. According to People en Español, the stunning Colombian received $30 million for completed projects and contracts during the period between June 2012 and June 2013, which places her at the top of the list of best paid television actresses.
Vergara has had a big year, managing to consolidate an enviable portfolio of promotional contracts for brands like Diet Pepsi, Covergirl and Rooms To Go, besides managing her own line of feminine clothing for Kmart.
Vergara recently made headlines when a trailer for the new movie "Fading Gigolo" hit the web. In the upcoming comedy, actor and director John Turturro goes above and beyond by doing a threesome with Vergara and Sharon Stone.
In the movie, Firovante (Turturro) decides to go into the oldest business in the world to help his friend Murray (Woody Allen), a broke book seller, make some extra cash. The plan: turn Firovante into a high-end male prostitute.
Vergara plays a very seductive client, Selima, a bored housewife. Selima tries to spice things up with Firovante and a dermatologist, Dr. Parker (Sharon Stone), confessing, "I like it rough. Sometimes I even like to be the man, just strap on my gun."
Then, both Vergara and Stone's characters can be seen in lacy lingerie waiting for their gigolo to join them in a passionate ménage à trois.
Vergara changed her hair color for her latest role in movie "Chef." The movie, directed by Jon Favreau, is a comedy that tells the story of a chef who loses his job and decides to open a food truck. The cast of "Chef" also includes Scarlett Johansson, Amy Sedaris, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr. and Fraveau himself. The script is based on an original screenplay by Favreau.
